Memorial Day

So, today is Memorial Day and normally I don't really think too much about it... Don't get me wrong, I love the holiday and our family always goes on a fishing trip... but this year it is a little bit more meaningful to me... simply because of Paige. Today I am trying to keep her in my thoughts all day (well more than i normally do, cuz i think about her ALOT). Anyways, so this morning we had german pancakes (very Paige-esque) and then i went through a bunch of my photo albums and decided to share some of the pictures i came across...

This is a scrapbook page that I did of her while I was in high school... We got to share a bedroom and this is her going through all of her school books. I did edit out one picture on the top right, it was a picture of Paige and an ex-boyfriend. BLECH... Anyways, she was awesome and super fun to room with, even though (as you can tell by the picture) our room wasnt always immaculate. and she always turned boring into fun... example: chemistry, goggles, and molecules... dont like them in school but i like them on Paige:)

Here our family went to a medieval jousting themed dinner while we were on a vacation to disneyland!!! good stuff:)

Anyone who knows Paige knows she loves to fish and grow tomatoes... and here is another scrapbook page i did showing her enjoying these hobbies:)

Bottom line... i love Paige!!! She was fun, quirky, energetic, beautiful, happy, and the perfect example of the kind of person i want to be.
