Swimming in the snow

It's memorial day in Italy today... I don't have much to say about how I feel today...because I know that if you are reading this, you already know my feelings very well... When you miss someone dear to your heart, memorial day seems to intensify the pain...

 I thought I would tame the negative feelings by sharing with you this picture that Paige sent me as a Christmas card one year. I love this picture. It is so "Paige-y" : )
Who else could have sent a photo like this for Christmas?! She never forgot to send a card our way and I always loved to see her pictures... This one in particular shocked me...Swimming suites and snow?!?! Definitely not an Italian shot! I remember thinking  that I would never have done something like that and...that it was amazing to see how much fun she always had in every situation ; )

Paige (probably remembering that an Italian would have been worried sick to see a group of young girls swimming during winter) wrote on the back a sort of an explanation for why it was totally ok for someone to swim in such a low temperature...
