A painting

Today my wonderful niece Maddy and her mom showed me an incredible painting.  I believe that Maddy came up with the idea and Kay helped her put it all together.  There are a couple small, yet meaningful things to point out about this painting.  One, look at the ballon.  Paige purchase a pair of red shoes last year that had that type of buckle.  She loved those shoes and wore them all the time. Two, and I am not sure if you can see it in the picture but there are outlines of Tulips in the sun, and as most of you know, tulips were Paige's favorite flower.  Three, the rope is to symbolize that Paige is pulling the sun up for a new day. I couldn't tell Maddy how amazing I thought this was because I would have started to break down...so Maddy, this is amazing.  And I really like believing that one day this painting will be my reality, again.
