Birthday wishes

I was in Genova with Paige when she wrote the fax that you can read in the previous post...

The Italian sister she talks about (Sorella De Giorgio)appears in the photo of the post "Pigtails"  (she is the one with short brown hair).

Paige writes about going to the sea during P-Day...I remember that day so well! I had arrived in Genova only six days earlier and I was already considering Paige my best friend. We clicked from the very beginning. Up to that point I had never felt so close and so comfortable with a brand new friend. I always had the feeling I had met her  before.
I had a lot of fun with her that day...unfortunately most of my pictures are still in the States now, but I'll share some of them with you.

Funny thing is that the fax was sent by my husband-to-be, Anziano Bowcut, who had bought a fax machine...and wich I met that same day for the first time...what a coincidence...
