Rap Songs

Paige and Reid and I all went on a road trip to Utah and Paige always had ways to make the road trips fun. For this road trip she picked out a rap song for us to memorize and sing along to:)
We ended up listening to Jay-Z's "Can I Get A..." over and over and over again until all three of us could rap it out together!!! even now i still sing along with the chorus of the song whenever it comes on the radio.
I know she's done this alot, and if anyone else out there has any songs that you and paige learned while on a road trip, i would love to hear about them.

Also, i would just like to note that while growing up i never thought of paige as a singer. i cant say that i remember her ever being crazy about singing songs or performing or anything like that. BUT i feel that after reading alot of these posts i am knowing her even better in her singing capabilities. apparently she sang with and to everyone in such a way that she left a lasting memory with her songs. its fun to see this side of her:) thank you!!!

  1. There were a couple songs that Paige and I learned. The one I thought she learned with Caroline and Reid was the song "Wanna be a baller" by Lil' Troy (I had to look that up by the way). The only line she knew was "Wanna be a -- baller, shot caller
Twenty inch blades -- on the Impala"
The song that Paige and I learned together was "Recipe" by G. Love and Speical Sauce. Her favorit line in that song was "To smoove out the edges as i
Flow like water from sink, drain, river to sea
    Whip the butter"
Considering the fact that I never considered Paige to much of a Rap/Hip Hop person she sure learned alot of rap songs...

  2. Brown-eyed girl ALWAYS reminded me of Paige. She would personalize the songs if she couldn't figure out the words:
So hard to find my way,
Now that I'm all on my own.
I saw you just the other day,
    My how you have grown,
    "CASTLE MARY BACK PEL-LOGE"
Sometimes I'm overcome just thinking 'bout
making love in the green grass
behind the stadium with you, My Brown-Eyed Girl.
