Paige's writings

I came across this essay that Paige wrote many years ago.  She wrote it so that she could get her student teaching assignment.  When I read through it the first time, what struck me was how she described herself.  The way she talked about herself and the gifts that she had was the same way that I have been talking about and describing her to people.  It made me feel good to know that what I saw in her, she also saw in herself.

Paige hating writing.  When we were first dating Paige was just finishing up her degree at Montana State University and she had to write several papers as part of her graduation project.  She would get so nervous when she had to write that she would chew her fingernails.  If I remember it correctly, when she was writing her final papers for the university, she got so anxious that she chewed her fingernails all the way down to the point where they started to bled.  The funny part is that even though Paige hating writing I always thought that she was an amazing writer.  Sure, the words didn't come easily to her and she had to fight to get what she really felt down on paper but the finished product was always, and I mean always, fantastic.  So, I thought I would share one of her essays.
