Happy Birthday Paige

It's almost three in the morning here in Italy...it is already the 23rd...sorry if I anticipate my Birthday Wishes...

This is one of my favorite pictures of Paige. I caught her by surprise one morning as she was having breakfast  while reading her Scriptures. I don't know if it has always been the case throughout the years ,but I know that while we shared the apartment , not even once I saw her cranky in the morning... That morning in particular I remember that I wanted to capture her "light"...definitely in contrast with our dark, messy apartment. Early mornings can be difficult on me. Finding her in the kitchen already smiley was my favorite jump-start. We shared breakfast time almost every morning...

I never had the chance to see her in front of a birthday cake, but as I was sitting here tonight, trying to think how she would have acted when ready to make a wish, this photo came to my mind. I love the expression on her face.
