Sooo, James... i am glad you asked for some memories of you and paige, cuz now that's what i have been thinking about for the past couple days and it's been kind of fun:) i have memories of your proposal and paige's reaction to it... i also have memories of visiting you when you lived in utah and seattle and you both played the awesome host and hostess... but i think my favorite memory that i was thinking about was when we all went fishing in the park (crazy... paige and fishing:) anyways... i dont know how many times you went out fishing prior to this trip, but i think you were still getting the hang of fly fishing at this point. anyways, you were determined and paige was supportive!!! it was over memorial day weekend (i'm pretty sure...) and it was pretty cold with a light snow... and you fell in the river!!! i think you came back to the truck for a bit to try and dry off, but you were mad!!! but it didnt take long for you to get back out there and catch a fish. and what i remember from this is, yeah, i felt bad for you... getting wet and mad in front of your in laws (actually, were you guys married yet??? i am not sure...) HOW EMBARRASSING... but i remember how impressed paige was with you that day:) you got back out into the water and paige had this look on her face that exclaimed "i love this man!!!" she thought the world of you. she made your time together her top priority. and i only think i heard her complain about you, well - maybe just a couple times...:) BUT, you two really are the perfect example of what a couple should be like. how to take care of each other and talk to each other and listen to each other. i love that you guys had taco tuesdays and had fun with paige and james nights and went biking and walking... there was never a dull moment and there was never a doubt in my mind about her love for you or your love for her!!! you two are awesome!!! you are still as determined as ever and i know paige will still always support you and esme in everything you do.

I certainly remember that day. And I remember that the main reason I went back out there was so that Paige would be proud of me. I never wanted to let her down. I always wanted her to be proud of me and to be proud to be my wife. She made me better person in so many ways and I am truly grateful to have had her influence in my life and grateful that I will always have her influence in mine and Esme's life.
